Summer in London can bring the best of times. Gorgeous glittered festivals; magical outdoor cinemas and endless long days by Lidos and on the heath. It also brings us sunburn, sweat and Love Island.

1. Lido Lates!
Forget forest-bathing, feed your soul (and your social life) at Brockwell Lido’s newly announced Lido Lates events this summer. Open-air moonlit swimming; Floats, boats & fountains; Wood fired aromatherapy sauna; Cocktails, music & street food. And the best part? There are only 120 tickets per night so guaranteed not to be packed … oh and it’s STRICTLY 18+. Kids are lovely, but so is being by a festoon lit pool in balmy evenings without them.

2. Cinema Paradiso presents …The Italian Job
Let’s blow the bloody doors off! Immersive cinema experience company Cinema Paradiso join us at The Book Club for an evening that includes the screening of the classic The Italian Job, free popcorn, and dancing the night away courtesy of live bands inspired by the movie soundtrack. There are whispers of some secret surprises greeting guests as they arrive…

3. London in the Sky
Bringing a whole new meaning to HAUTE cuisine; why not have your brunch; dinner or starlit cocktails dangling 100ft in the air? For the first time in the UK, three tables will be suspended 100ft in the air, each with different menus designed by our award winning chefs Robin Gill, Lee Westcott and Pascal Aussignac. Tickets are selling fast so snap yours up for to join a very different mile high dining club.

4. Scoop
London’s very own Willy Wonkas, Bompass & Parr, have immersive ice cream exhibition is coming to London this summer. I mean, of course they do. From glow-in-the-dark ice creams to vanilla-flavoured fogs, and daffodil ice creams that haven’t been tasted since 18th century; this is the sort of magical tastebud experience you’ve never even dreamed of.
