At this autumn’s literary salon we are discussing all things foody with inspirational cook and food writer Anna Jones (graduate of Jamie Oliver’s food team and author of the best-selling ‘A Modern Way to Cook’), and the wise and wonderful writer and Sunday Telegraph ‘Kitchen Thinker’ columnist Bee Wilson.
From the recent (g)astronomical rise of the wellness guru to women’s notoriously complicated relationship with food, we will be unpicking that thorny question ‘is food a feminist issue?’. We all know nutrition is important (let’s face it, these days you can’t scroll through Instagram without a picture of someone’s avo-toast or super smoothie!) but how do you tell the difference between the latest food fad and a healthy, balanced approach to one of life’s greatest pleasures.
With greens now defiantly the new black, join us to hear Anna and Bee bring their invaluable wisdom, expertise and common sense to these issues and more!
The discussion will be followed by a q&a, book signing and a chance to meet the panel.
Time: Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
