Where are all the women? History is full of women who have been systematically ignored, forgotten or simply written out of the records. But not for long! Herstory is here to share the stories of women whose contributions have been overlooked.
For the very first time, you are invited to take your seat at Herstory’s recreation of Judy Chicago’s canonical feminist artwork ‘The Dinner Party’. You will be given all you need to introduce yourself to the rest of the table as one of the Herstory Sheros. Whether you are Claudia Jones, Qiu Jin or Sophia Duleep Singh you will be in good company, as we spend the evening journeying through herstory and celebrating people and achievements that for so long have gone unrecognized.
Over the past year, students have been transformed into incredible historical women, championing women’s history and doing feminism – and now it’s your turn.
