The World’s Biggest Book Club with Zoe Pilger

On 22th November literary magazine Das Mag turns East London in the world’s biggest book club for a day. The festival consists of ten intimate book clubs being held simultaneously in ten beautiful venues, including The Book Club!

Unlike any old reading group, the writers in question are present, handing out drinks and joining the club for a frank discussion about the book. There are only 25 readers in each book club, so everyone gets to share their reading experience and quiz the author. After the book clubs, we’ll be hosting an after party where you can booze it up with the readers, authors and moderators from all ten book clubs.

We are very excited to have author Zoe Pilger and her acclaimed debut novel Eat My Heart Out at The Book Club. Fiercely clever and unapologetically wild, Eat My Heart Out is the satire for our narcissistic, hedonistic, post-post-feminist era. Moderated by Hannah Westland (Serpent’s Tail publisher).

All participants receive their book of choice in the post exactly one month prior to the event – so grab your tickets soon because sales close on 20th October!

Your ticket includes a book, the after party and a surprise…

Time: 4pm-6.30pm (book club) / 6.30pm – late (after party)

Price: £15 including book
